SNAP (lunch account)

Evanston Township High School is committed to providing quality food service to its students and staff. A wide variety of freshly made, student-pleasing food is prepared daily in our own, district-operated facility. This year, we will continue our efforts to help students improve their eating by including even more baked, not fried, items; fresh fruits and vegetables, and; whole grain breads and pastas in our meal offerings.

To ensure quality service, the Nutrition Services Department uses a computerized cash register system which enables parents and students to prepay for food purchases. The system, known as "SNAP" (School Nutrition Accountability Program,) has been in use at ETHS since 1993 and both parents and students have found it to be convenient and helpful. Some additional features have been added which now make the system even more convenient to use.
