The much-anticipated Frosh/Soph Formal is back for its second year at ETHS. Last year's dance was a great success, with more than 500 freshmen and sophomores in attendance. The Frosh/Soph Formal is a festive dance party for students in 9th and 10th grade - this is YOUR NIGHT! Dress code is semi-formal for the evening. Ask a date, or go with a group of friends to enjoy the evening. Either way, we encourage all freshmen and sophomores to attend!
When: Saturday, March 10th, 2012
Time: 7-10pm
Where: ETHS Upstairs Gyms (G208/209 and G206/207)
DJ: Kiss 103.5
Theme: "Happily Ever After"
Semi-Formal/Formal Attire: Keep it classy, E-Town! Suits, ties, dress pants/khakis, button-down shirts, semi-formal dresses (no jeans, shorts, sweat pants, micro mini dresses/skirts, t-shirts, backless dresses/tops, revealing/transparent/sheer clothes or bare midriffs). Bags and large purses are not allowed (clutch purses are permitted). Students who are not dressed appropriately will be turned away. Refunds will not be given. Click here to view pictures of last year's event!
Coat Check Available: Since students are not allowed to visit their lockers during school dances, a free coat check will be provided. The coat check is for coats only. We will not check purses, shoes (WEAR COMFORTABLE SHOES for dancing!), cell phones, cameras or other valuables. Please leave valuables at home - you will not need cash for the dance. The school will not be responsible for any lost or stolen items.
Tickets: $5.00 - Tickets will be on sale the week prior to the dance in the Main Lobby. Tickets will not be sold at the door.
Guests: ETHS students may bring non-ETHS guests who are currently freshman or sophomore students at area schools. Guests must be in good standing at their school, must be pre-approved through the ETHS Deans' Office. Students may pick up Guests Approval Forms from the Deans' Office (H109).
Detentions: ETHS students must have 10 or less detentions in order to attend. Don't wait - clear your detentions before March!
Entrance: Each student (and pre-approved guest) must have a ticket, and will be required to show their school ID to enter the dance. All students/guests are subject to random breathalzyer testing. Students may choose to leave the dance at any time, but they will not be allowed to re-enter the dance once they leave. No one will be admitted to the dance after 8:30 p.m.
Questions: See Ms. MacPherson in the Student Center or call 847-424-7949.
