Queen and King Regulations
Many of you have been inquiring about the Homecoming Queen and King nomination process. Here are the specifics:
1. You MUST be pre-approved by Ms. Mac and your Dean to campaign. See Ms. Mac to see if you meet the academic and probationary status.
2. Once you are approved, you may start campaigning but you MUST follow the campaign rules:
-you may not spend over $100 on your campaign - keep all receipts (lack of receipts = disqualification)
-you may NOT tape any signs in the school to any painted surfaces/walls
-all campaign materials need to be "clean" and appropriate. Any negative campaigning against other nominees will result in disqualification
3. You must get nominated by your senior classmates. Even seniors that are not campaigning can be nominated. EVERY senior is eligible to be nominated if they are in good standing with the Deans Office.
-Sept. 9th - nominations will take place in Beardsley Cafeteria during lunch periods. Only seniors may nominate
4. Nominees will be announced on Monday Sept. 12th during 3rd period announcements
5. The top 5 queen nominees and top 5 king nominees will be put on a ballot in which the whole school will vote on during spirit week.
6. Queen and King will be crowned at half time of the Homecoming Football Game on Sept. 23rd
