Open to all students who have an interest in reaching out to peers with special needs.
Time Commitment
Monthly after-school chapter activities, individual activities with assigned buddy twice a month.
Procedure for Joining
Apply during open enrollment in the fall. Pick up application in W113 or at the Community Service Fair in September.
Description
The ETHS chapter of Best Buddies matches students with special needs in one-to-one friendships with their regular education peers. These buddy pairs nurture their relationships by meeting during the school day, attending school activities and events together, getting together for socialization in the community, and attending chapter activities.
