As you may be aware, international leaders will be in Chicago for the G8 and NATO Summits in May during the same weekend that our Senior Prom is scheduled.  We have been recently advised that the City of Chicago will implement multiple street closures during the weekend of the summits, significantly impacting downtown traffic and travel to Navy Pier. Additionally, there is an increased safety concern about the possible presence of violent protests and demonstrations. To ensure the safety of our students, staff chaperones and parent volunteers, it is necessary to avoid the downtown Chicago area and relocate the ETHS Senior Prom from Navy Pier. To account for the change in venue, prom tickets will be sold for $70 per ETHS Student and $105 for non-ETHS guests, a savings of $30 from previous years. Prom Committee and our Student Activities office are working hard to make sure this is the best Prom yet.

 

You MUST register online through Home Access Applications https://homeapplication.eths.k12.il.us/Login/  in order to purchase a Prom 2012 ticket. Registration will be open May 14th and will end at 4pm on May 15th. Group Leader registration will be May 10th and 11th. YOUR GROUP LEADER MUST REGISTER PRIOR TO OTHER MEMBERS. The system WILL NOT ALLOW you to register unless you have 10 or fewer detentions! Once you have registered online, a list of those registered will be given to the Senior Dean for final approval to ensure that all detentions have been served and all non-ETHS guests have been approved. For all non-ETHS guests, you MUST STILL pick up a guest form from the Dean’s Office and return your paperwork by the required guest form deadline.

 

 

1)      Register as a Group Leader: The group leader MUST register first--Group Leader Registration will be May 10th and 11th--and "invite" those in his/her group to register under that group leader name. Once the group leader has registered you as a part of their group, you will have a link on Home Access Applications to register under that group. Talk to your group leader and make sure they are putting you down as a part of their group. Remember, you must still register yourself under your own HAA account after your group leader has listed you as a part of their group. ONLY 10 people can sit at each table. ... therefore each group can have NO MORE than 10 people. If you have a larger group, create 2 group leaders and divide your group amongst two tables/leaders.

 

2)      Register as an individual: You may also register as an individual or as a couple without having to be a part of a large group.  In order to do this, you must register as your own group leader.

 

The online registration link will be pulled off the website after 4pm on the 15th.

 

Ticket sales will be May 14th-15th - you must register online prior to purchasing your ticket!

 

 

1)      Pay Online! During the ticket sales period of May 14^th-16^th you may pay for your Prom ticket online with a credit card through RevTrak through the ETHS Web Store link on the main ETHS home page. You will then pick up your pre-paid ticket from Ms. MacPherson in the  Beardsley Student Center.

2)      Pay by Cash or Money Order* or candy credit: (NO PERSONAL CHECKS ACCEPTED) Through Ms. MacPherson in the Beardsley Student Center

*Money Orders should be made payable to: Evanston Township High School and MUST include your I.D. number on the memo section of the order.
