The Arts at ETHS
The Evanston Township High School Fine Arts Department will showcase a dynamic schedule of events during the 2010-2011 school year. ETHS students, teachers and volunteers work hard each year to capture the imaginations of the school community through productions in Music, Speech Arts, and Visual Arts.
This year, the ETHS Theatre program will include the student production of YAMO, followed by an exciting season of plays such as Romeo & Juliet and Steel Magnolias, and this year’s musical choice, Hairspray. Throughout the year, District 65 and 202 will join forces for several combined musical performances and Visual Art exhibits, with the signature Art Exhibit and Open House taking place in January. The ETHS Music program will host several concerts this school year, including a festive Holiday Music Fest in December and the Evanston Jazz Festival in February
