The Office of Research, Evaluation and Assessment provides district support in several areas. Special studies and evaluations are conducted of the instructional program. The Office is also responsible for the administering, analyzing and reporting of standardized achievement tests including the EXPLORE, PLAN and ACT tests, the PSAT, SAT and the Advanced Placement Examinations. We also assist departments in the development and data management of locally developed Common Assessments. In addition, we provide consultation services to school staff regarding the development of surveys and analysis of data. The Office reviews requests from individuals or organizations that seek to perform research projects in the District.
