Instructions in English and Spanish for how to sign up for conferences:
ETHS values parent participation in each student’s education. Each October and March, teachers and counselors devote time to conferences with parents of all students. Most conferences last five minutes. Students are welcome to attend conferences with their parents. Parents may also request individual conferences with teachers or a counselor any time during the school year by contacting the appropriate department office.
PTC Assistance
Students and parents can register online for conferences during specified times the week or so prior to the conferences. Parents who need assistance with PTC registration, those who are a second guardian, or who do not have computer access should contact Peter Naughton at 847-424-7121 on weekdays, 8:00 a.m.-4:30 p.m. After 8:30 a.m., you can also call (847)964-5035. Email homeaccesscenter@eths.k12.il.us any time, and we will respond as soon as possible during regular business hours.
Can I set up an appointment with someone other than a teacher?
Yes, if you would like to conference with a Counselor, Dean or Social Worker feel free to email to set up an appointment.

Home Access Center Reminders
- Check your student’s classwork, attendance, and grades in Home Access Center before attending your conference, to help focus your time with the teachers.
- Help teachers stay in contact with you by keeping your phone numbers and email address up-to-date in Home Access Center (HAC). To update your contact information, click Edit Information (on the Registration page, under Contact Information), add or change phone numbers and email addresses as appropriate, and click Save (at the bottom of the window) when you are finished.
- Go to the Email Alerts page if you want to sign up to receive report cards and IPR grades by email on HAC.

How do I register to see a teacher?
Have your student sign up on the Parent Teacher Conference schedule posted on the classroom door of the teacher you want to see.
Can I set up and appointment with someone other than a teacher?

When are the actual conferences with the teachers?
Conferences will take place at ETHS October 13 from 6:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m., plus October 14 from 10 a.m. until 12 p.m. and 1 p.m. until 3:30 p.m.
