Parent and Guardian Information

Evanston Township High School (ETHS) District 202 serves parents, guardians and families across the City of Evanston and a small portion of the neighboring Village of Skokie. Our goal is to give families the information and access they need to be more informed and involved during their student’s ETHS experience.

Parent Groups at ETHS

• PTSA

  The PTSA facilitates communication between school and home and provides volunteers and funds to support school services and programs. The board sponsors meetings on topics of interest to parents, handles all-school mailings, hosts visits of college representatives, and appoints parents to serve on committees. It also works on special projects such as After Midnight, the after-prom activity planned by parents for graduating seniors.

• ETHS Boosters Club

  Boosters are parents, friends and alumni who support ETHS extracurricular activities. The funds they raise go to support sports, music, drama and other activities. Members get free admission to all dual athletic contests, and free admission or discounts at many concerts and plays.

• Latino Advisory Committee

  This committee is a collaboration of parents, students, and ETHS staff who discuss methods and strategies to continually improve the quality of education for students at ETHS. This committee also provides a forum for families whose first language is Spanish.
