2012 Boys State Swimming & Diving Meet

Public Access
The public entrance to the meet is the Beardsley Gymnasium entrance on Dodge Avenue just south of Church Street. Doors open at 8:00 AM on Friday and 9:30 AM on Saturday.
Doors for participants and coaches open at 6:00 AM on Friday and 8:00 AM on Saturday. The contestant entrance is located on Church Street at Door #30 near the tennis court.
Handicap Access
The handicap accessible entrance is available by driving directly onto the sidewalk towards the Beardsley Gym entrance located on Dodge Avenue (just south of Church). The swimming pool entrance is on the right at door #24. One assistant is allowed. Please call 847-424-7299 before arriving to assure someone is available to meet you at the door.
General Information
Coats and jackets will not be allowed in the pool balcony. All coats must be checked in the gym holding area.
Concessions will be open to the public all day Friday and Saturday.

Parking
Parking is allowed in ETHS school lots on Friday starting at 3:00 PM and ALL day on Saturday.
- Spectators will NOT be allowed to park in school parking lots until 3:00pm on Friday. All school lots are open to the public on Saturday.
- Street parking is permitted on the south side of Church Street and in front of football stadium. Street parking is not allowed on Davis Street and is limited on the east side of Dodge Avenue.
- NEW: On Friday only, the parking lot just west of the football stadium will be open for spectator parking all day and is accessible from Church Street by turning north on Lemar Street (half block west of stadium). ETHS will not provide parking supervisors so please do not leave valuables in your vehicle.
- Patrons are reminded to heed all local parking ordinances.

- ETHS encourages all teams and spectators to stay at the Hampton Inn & Suites located off of I-94 on 5201 Old Orchard Road in Skokie just west of Old Orchard Shopping Mall. Call 847-583-1111 to make your reservation.
- Mention "ETHS" when making your reservation to receive your IHSA State Swim Meet discount.
- NEW: Hampton Inn & Suites will be providing direct shuttle service to and from the IHSA State Swim Meet at ETHS to help reduce parking problems around the high school. All guests interested in this shuttle service should tell the front desk in advance in order to best coordinate and schedule this service.
