The lasting impact of high-quality early childhood care and education on children's health and educational success in increasingly clear. However, not all children and families get access, and programs struggle with adequate resources. ETHS District 202 is part of a coalition of more than 60 concerned community partners from Evanston and Skokie who are supporting an effort to ensure that all our children get the best start and build a strong foundation for future success through the Lifting Up Early Childhood series.
Join the next discussion, The First 1,100 Days Last Forever, a talk by Erikson Institute President Geoff Nagle on early childhood development. It will be held at King Literary and Fine Arts School at 2424 Lake Street in Evanston on Wednesday, February 26 at 5:00 pm. Dinner and childcare will be provided. The next event, The State of Early Education, will be held on April 15. Details and registration information are available on the Evanston Community Foundation website.
