Summer School Late Registration Update

The late registration period for Remote Summer School 2020 is May 26-29. Late registration is open only to current ETHS students.


Courses to Recover Credit

These courses are available to students who earned an F in an English, History, Math, Science, or PE course during 1st Semester of this current school year or during a previous school year. All tuition and fees for these courses have been suspended for Summer School 2020. There will be no cost for students to register for these recovery courses. 


Registration for a recovery course can be completed by communicating with your counselor.   Recovery courses being offered in a virtual format are listed in the Course Selection Guide.


2nd Semester Incomplete Recovery

All students who end this current 2nd semester with an Incomplete will have the opportunity to complete their course credit over the summer. There will be no cost for students to engage in this extension of learning over the summer.


Students who earn an Incomplete will be contacted in early June with more information about their incomplete recovery options. 


Enrichment Course Offerings (Consumer Education)

Summer school has available seats in the Period 2 sections of the the following enrichment courses that fulfill the consumer education graduation requirement:

  • American Legal Systems - Open to rising 10th, 11th, and 12th grade students
  • Contemporary Adult Life - Open to rising 10th, 11th, and 12th grade students
  • Economics - Open to rising 11th and 12th grade students.


Tuition and registration fees will still apply for these three enrichment courses. Course descriptions can be reviewed in the Course Selection Guide.


Registration for these will be available through the ETHS Web Store beginning at 9:00am on Tuesday May 26 and closing at 4:00pm on Friday May 29 or sooner if classes reach capacity.


Summer School Schedule

Summer School 2020 attendance days will remain the same as previously scheduled. The first day of summer school is June 4 and the last day of summer school is July 15. The first two Fridays, June 5 and June 12, will be attendance days. There will be no class on Fridays beginning on June 19.


Remember, that the start time for classes has been shifted by two hours

  • Period 1 will run from 10:00am-12:30pm.
  • Period 2 will run from 1:00pm-3:30pm.
