Illinois 5Essentials Survey Open to ETHS Parents

Parents/guardians in Evanston Township High School District 202 and across Illinois have an opportunity to participate in the Illinois State Board of Education (ISBE)’s Illinois 5Essentials Parent Survey. It is now open and details are available online.

This statewide survey is administered online by UChicago Impact at the University of Chicago on behalf of ISBE. It will give school leaders critical input to help develop school improvement plans. The survey provides a comprehensive picture of a school’s organizational culture with actionable reports to help drive school improvement on five indicators or "essentials":

  • Effective Leaders
  • Collaborative Teachers
  • Involved Families
  • Supportive Environments
  • Ambitious Instruction

The 10-minute survey will be available online through March 26 and can be taken on desktop or mobile devices. Survey responses will be kept completely confidential and responses will not be linked to any individual.
