Jan. 20 Virtual Event for Students, Staff, and Families -- Black Brown + Breathing Space for Healing and Conversation

January 14, 2022

On January 20, DuShaun Taylor and Taylor Mason of Black Brown + Breathing (BBB) will host a virtual event for parents, students, and ETHS staff to connect and process the end of 2021 and the start of a new year. Evanston Township High School began a partnership with BBB in the fall of 2021 to offer student spaces where art, conversation, gentle body movement, and circle are used to build community and center healing. They hosted three successful socially distanced in-person events at ETHS during Semester 1 and would like to offer this virtual opportunity for families to connect as well.

On January 20 from 7-8:30pm, Black Brown + Breathing will host a special live online event for ETHS staff, students, parents, and guardians. This event will take place over Zoom. You must register for this event. The Zoom link will be emailed to you after registration. Interpretation services are available upon request.

We are excited to share space together on this evening! Join the Zoom in clothes you are comfortable in, ready for a night of sharing, rest, and connection.

By registering for this event, you accept and agree to adhere to the following community guidelines.
