Reminder: Illinois Science Assessment for Grade 11 on March 7

February 28, 2022

As a reminder, on Monday, March 7, ETHS administers the Illinois Science Assessment (ISA) to all Grade 11 students. There will be no school for grades 9, 10, and 12 on this day.

Grade 11 exam day information

The state-administered ISA is a mandatory graduation requirement. Students should check their emails next week for room assignments.

Students report to school at 8:30am. Dismissal time is approximately 11:30am and will vary by room. Students testing with extended time accommodations will be dismissed around 12:00pm.

Students need to bring their fully-charged Chromebook and headphones. Cell phones and wearable technology (smartwatches, fitness trackers, etc.) are strictly prohibited in testing rooms. Room proctors are required to collect any cell phones and wearable technology brought into the testing room. Devices will be turned off and held until testing is complete. If students are found to be in possession of a device during testing, they will be escorted out of the testing room immediately and their scores will be forfeited.

Lunch will not be served.

We know this day of testing is important, and we will do all we can to make sure students can do well on March 7. You can help by making sure your student gets a good night's sleep before the exam and eats breakfast before testing. Light breakfast options will be available to students beginning at 7:30am in the main lobby.
