ESSER Stakeholder Survey Open Through April 26
April 12, 2022
ETHS District 202 is asking for input on how federal funds through the Elementary and Secondary School Education Emergency Relief Fund (ESSER) can be used in the district.
ESSER provides funding to prevent, prepare for, and respond to the coronavirus threat and equitable services to students and teachers in schools as required under the Coronavirus Aid, Relief, and Economic Security Act (CARES Act).
ETHS received $2.3 million in ESSER III (Round 3) funding. The current proposal is to spend $1.7 million on capital improvements that will focus on better air flow and heating/cooling systems, along with a major renovation to the nurses’ office. The balance of the funds would be spent on employee positions that are needed as a result of COVID and COVID protocols.
Please complete the brief survey by April 26 to provide your input on where and how funds should be used.
