Students should check their detention status in myETHS and clear any detentions by Saturday, April 13. For more information about how to clear tardies, review the ETHS Tardy Tracker Information for Students. For questions about eligibility for Prom 2025, please contact Dean Soriano.

Senior Prom is a school-sponsored event. As such, students and their guests must follow the ETHS rules and guidelines outlined in The Pilot student handbook. To ensure a safe and enjoyable prom experience:
  • ID Requirements: All guests must present a valid ID. ETHS students should bring their Student ID. Non-ETHS guests must bring a valid state-issued photo ID.
  • No Reentry: Students and guests will not be allowed to return to their vehicles after checking in. Please bring all necessary items with you (for both prom and the cruise) when you check in. Coats and bags can be checked in at the venue.
  • Safety Measures: Bags will be checked upon arrival. Breathalyzer tests will be given both randomly and when there is suspicion of substance use. These help ensure the safety and wellbeing of all students and to maintain a substance-free environment at prom.

Violation of Event Policies
Please review our guidelines for school dances. Should a student violate any of the outlined rules or engage in unsafe or inappropriate behavior:
  1. A parent/guardian will be contacted to pick up the student.
  2. Students will face appropriate disciplinary consequences in accordance with school policies.

Coat Check
A free coat check service will be available for students and their guests. Students may leave their coats and belongings at the coat check for the duration of prom and the cruise. After prom, students can pick up their items to change for the cruise, and then re-check any items they no longer need for the cruise.
