ETHS students earn 2018 Latin Exam recognition

Evanston Township High School students participated in the 2018 National Latin Exam, with 40 of the 85 participating students earning awards. The 40-question exam, taken by level, was taken annually by more than 143,000 Latin students worldwide this year.
ETHS students earned Summa Cum Laude (gold medal), Maxima Cum Laude (silver medals), Magna Cum Laude, and Cum Laude recognition at various levels. Results are as follows:
Overall, 48% of Latin students from ETHS scored at or above the international average for this exam, with one student achieving a perfect score on the 2 Latin exam. Those who were award-winners are listed below by level and award.
