About Graduation

  • Graduation is the culmination of a journey where students can proudly look back on their time spent at Evanston Township High School. Whether the next step for a student is applying for college or beginning a professional career with the education they’ve gained at ETHS, the graduation ceremony is hosted to celebrate our high school graduates each year.

ETHS's graduation ceremony includes an address from the principal and senior class president and a keynote speaker. At the conclusion of the ceremony graduates who have completed all requirements receive their accredited high school diploma.

Students planning on participating in the graduation ceremony must complete a series of steps outlined in the Graduation Checklist to ensure they are cleared to graduate. Information will be provided at the Senior Assembly in the spring.

Friends, family, and supporters may watch the graduation ceremony via live streaming video on the ETHS Wildkits YouTube Live Stream channel.

Viewers may also watch the live stream from their mobile device via the ETHS mobile app. Go to "Live Stream / On Demand Video" from the app menu. NOTE: The channel will indicate that it is "off-site" until the live coverage begins.

A recorded video of graduation will be viewable online within one week after the event has ended. You may watch the archived video on the ETHS Ustream page at the link above.
