ETHS Open House

  • ETHS parents and guardians are invited to attend our Open House event at the beginning of each school year. Parents and guardians are invited to participate in the evening with or without their current ETHS student(s) in grade 9-12. Younger siblings may attend if accompanied by an adult.

During the Open House event, parents and guardians may visit each of their child’s classrooms for 10 minutes, following their students' schedules during the evening. Parents have an opportunity to meet their students' teachers and to hear about course curriculum for the current school year. Grade-level deans, social workers, psychologists, and counselors also provide information about well-being resources during a student's unscheduled block or during a non-advisory study hall block.

No registration is required for Open House. The Welcome Center (E112) will be open to parents and guardians for light refreshments throughout the event. Details about the Open House event are shared with families at the beginning of the school year.

Please note that teachers and staff cannot provide personal conferences during the Open House event. Parents of students enrolled in advanced middle school math courses at ETHS are invited to attend their child’s math class during Open House to meet their teacher.
