The November 27 event has been canceled and will be rescheduled for later in the school year.

The ETHS District 202 Board of Education is hosting a community conversation on Tuesday, November 27, 7:00-8:30pm to discuss progress since the adoption of District goals and how the Board manages the work of the goals. “Community Conversation with the ETHS Board” will be held in the school’s Welcome Center (E112) and is open to the public.

The D202 Board adopted the 2017-2022 District Goals in May 2016 with input from ETHS students, parents/guardians, staff, and community members. In conjunction with the Board’s Equity & Excellence Mission Statement, the goals are designed to close academic achievement gaps and prepare all students for success after high school.

“Community feedback has been so instrumental in bringing clarity and focus to our equity work,” said ETHS D202 Board president Pat Savage-Williams. In order to strengthen our partnership with community members and organizations, we want to continue to engage the community and hear from stakeholders to support the policies and programs impacting all ETHS students every day. ”  

ETHS community members will have an opportunity to learn about the role of the ETHS D202 Board, hear an update on the implementation of the District’s goals, and share perspectives on this work. Registration is not required for the Community Conversation event. Spanish language interpretation will be available. ETHS, located at 1600 Dodge Avenue, is wheelchair accessible. Parking is recommended in Lot #1, on Dodge Ave. across from the main entrance.
