APPOINTMENT OF SCHOOL BOARD MEMBER

On June 21, 2021, the Evanston Township High School District 202 Board of Education appointed Mirah Anti to fill the vacancy created because Jude Laude did not seek reelection. The appointment is effective immediately. Anti is the Director of Equity & Inclusion at Highland Park High School and Deerfield High School District 113.

Pat Savage-Williams, D202 School Board President, said, ”As per our announcement at the May meeting, the ETHS Board of Education sought applications to fulfill the current Board vacancy.  We followed the process outlined in the Illinois School Code.  Applications were submitted during the month of May and interviews were held during closed session in June.”

Pursuant to 105 ILCS 5/10-10, Mirah Anti’s appointment will be for that period of time from the date of this appointment to serve the remainder of the unexpired term of Mr. Laude until the April 2023 school board elections.
