ETHS students earn 2019 Latin Exam recognition

Evanston Township High School (ETHS) students participated in the 2019 National Latin Exam, with 28 of the 78 participating students earning awards. The 40-question exam, taken by level, was completed by more than 139,000 Latin students worldwide.


ETHS students earned Summa Cum Laude (gold medal), Maxima Cum Laude (silver medal), Magna Cum Laude, and Cum Laude recognition at various levels. Results are as follows:


1 Latin

Gold Summa Cum Laude: Cooper Stringer

Silver Maxima Cum Laude: Sofía Stutz

Magna Cum Laude: Cooper Choldin, Marquita Landrum, Sofia Louise Williams, Neal Ziolkowski, Lauren Dain

Cum Laude: Cecilia Lowman, Avamarie Via


2 Latin

Gold Summa Cum Laude: Theo Molina Wong

Silver Maxima Cum Laude: Hannah Rein, Avery Cummins

Cum Laude: Eva Lettiere-Roberts, August McIntosh-Lombardo, Howard Godfrey, Emily Hauser, Willow So, Cole Wagner, Ava Santos-Volpe, Luca Sciarra


3 Latin

Gold Summa Cum Laude: Ronan Soni, Joshua Ahn
