The Diary of Anne Frank

Evanston Township High School presents “The Diary of Anne Frank” on December 12, 13, and 14. Curtain is at 7:30pm each evening in the Upstairs Theatre.

In this transcendently powerful new adaptation by Wendy Kesselman, Anne Frank emerges from history a living, lyrical, intensely gifted young girl, who confronts her rapidly changing life and the increasing horror of her time with astonishing honesty, wit, and determination. An impassioned drama about the lives of eight people hiding from the Nazis in a concealed storage attic, “The Diary of Anne Frank” captures the claustrophobic realities of their daily existence—their fear, their hope, their laughter, and their grief.

General admission tickets are $8 for adults, $6 for students and senior citizens. Tickets are available online for purchase at www.ethsfinearts.com, where you can select your own seats. Attendees can also purchase tickets at the ETHS Box Office on show nights.

Located at 1600 Dodge Ave, the Upstairs Theatre is accessible by elevator. Parking is available in the lot across from the main entrance, off of Dodge Avenue. However, showgoers are encouraged to park in the lots behind the high school. Parking is also available along Dodge Avenue according to posted City of Evanston signs.
