ETHS fine arts students Damien Franchere, Jamie Lauderbaugh, and Adji Teoudoussia have earned recognition in the Belin-Blank Center’s Scholastic Art & Writing Awards program at the University of Iowa. The awards program is the nation’s longest-running and most prestigious recognition program for creative teens. Panelists looked for artworks that best exemplify originality, technical skill, and the emergence of a personal voice or vision.
Award winners are invited to attend the “Scholastic Celebration in Three Acts” event on March 7 to celebrate the students and teachers who submitted their work. To learn more, visit www.belinblank.education.uiowa.edu/students/scholastic/.
