ETHS District 202 Announces Administrative Appointments

The Evanston Township High School District 202 Board of Education approved the appointment of Taya Kinzie, Ed.D. as the Assistant Superintendent and Principal and the appointment of Scott Bramley, Ed.D. as Assistant Superintendent of Human Resources. Both administrative positions are effective July 1, 2022. The appointments were approved unanimously at the school district’s May 9, 2022 board meeting.

Dr. Taya Kinzie 
Taya Kinzie, Ed.D.

 

Taya Kinzie began her career at ETHS in 2004 as a social worker in the Special Education Department before becoming a dean of students, and then being appointed to Associate Principal for Student Services in 2015. She is also a Spanish/English bilingual Licensed Clinical Social Worker, and has previously served students and families in Chicago, Waukegan, and California Public Schools and social service agencies.

 

“Dr. Kinzie has led the student services department and ETHS school and larger communities through a myriad of challenges and changes throughout the years,” remarked Marcus Campbell, currently the Assistant Superintendent and Principal, who will serve as ETHS Superintendent effective July 1, 2022. “Dr. Kinzie’s empathetic and compassionate leadership has already made a tremendous impact on our community, and we are excited and fortunate to have her continued leadership and care for our community in the new role of Assistant Superintendent and Principal.”

 Dr. Scott Bramley
Scott Bramley, Ed.D.

 

Scott Bramley began his career at ETHS in 2012 as the Department Chair for English and Reading. He served in that role for two years before being appointed to Associate Principal for Instruction and Literacy. Bramley has served in his associate principal role for the past eight years, including the current school year in which he also served as the Interim Chief Human Resource Officer since October 2021.

 

“Dr. Bramley is a systems thinker and problem solver who leads with humility. He is consistently looking for ways to improve processes and support ETHS students and staff,” stated ETHS Assistant Superintendent and Principal Marcus Campbell. “We are thrilled to have him move into the Assistant Superintendent for Human Resources role.”

 

Bramley earned a B.A. in English and Secondary Education from Loyola University Chicago, an M.A. in Teaching and Learning/Curriculum and Instruction from St. Xavier University, and an M.A. in School Leadership and an Ed.D. in Educational Leadership from Concordia University Chicago.
