Evanston Township High School’s CubeSat team, named the “Space or Bust Wildkits,” participated in the inaugural CubeSat Challenge this month and were one of six teams to be included in the final presentations at the national event.

The ETHS team, consisting of senior Connor McGuire, and juniors Rohil Bose, William Comess, Meris Goldfarb, and Luca Zerega, had to design, build, and test a miniature cube satellite prototype, or “CubeSat.” You can watch their presentation here.

The competition is sponsored by the Massachusetts Institute of Technology and is designed to challenge students' knowledge on engineering, programming, and space. For more information, visit the CubeSat Challenge website.
