Open Studio Project Exhibit Features ETHS Students’ Work

Open Studio Project Exhibit- Higher Self: Art from the ETHS Hub

 

Students from Evanston Township High School (ETHS) will have their artwork showcased at an Open Studio Project exhibit throughout the month of June. Higher Self: Art from the ETHS Hub opens with a special reception from 1:00-3:00pm on Saturday, June 4 at Gallery 901 in Evanston. 

 

As part of a partnership with ETHS, Open Studio Project established a drop-in art studio inside the school’s Student Success Center, called “The Hub.” The space allowed students to re-acclimate to the school year and explore social emotional learning (SEL) skills by making art in a safe, supportive environment. The SEL art curriculum was available to ETHS students and staff throughout the 2021-22 school year.
