Fifteen seniors from Evanston Township High School have been named finalists in the 2025 National Merit Scholarship Program. 

The ETHS finalists are: Hershel Abraham, Una Breen, Eli Coustan, Cameron Eaton-Strong, Maxwell Matsis, Daniel O’Connor, Isaac Peng, Katherine Schober, Leah Shaman, Harrison Stracks, Patrick Tu, Philippa Walker, Andrew Watson, William Zalmezak, and Kathryn Zehr. 

The National Merit Scholarship Company (NMSC) annually recognizes U.S. high school students who demonstrate definitive marks of academic excellence. Approximately 15,000 high school students were named as finalists. Later this spring, 6,870 of these students will be notified that they are Merit Scholarship winners.
