    All Career & Technical Education courses can be considered Career Pathway Coursework and help students develop technical and 21st century skills in one of the seven Career Pathways recognized in the State of Illinois.  Agriculture, Food and Natural Resources; Arts and Communication; Finance and Business Services; Health Science and Technology; Human and Public Services; Information Technology; and Manufacturing, Engineering, and Trades.  Some CTE courses provide an opportunity to earn either Industry-Recognized Certification or Dual Credit with Oakton College.
