Sophomore Honor Society Application Materials

  • Students who have a cumulative 3.0 GPA or higher will be invited to apply to the Sophomore Honor Society in February. Eligible students and their families will receive a mailing to their home address and an email. Students must be logged into their eths202.org account to complete the application forms.

    • Submit the Sophomore Honor Society Application Google form (only accessible via student’s eths202.org account).
      • Be sure you receive an auto-reply email confirming receipt of the application. If you do not get an auto-reply, your form has not been submitted.
      • The application deadline is Friday, April 18, 2025 (No late submissions will be accepted.).

     

    • Make Honor Roll in the first semester of sophomore year and maintain a 3.0 GPA for the third quarter

     

    • Be recommended by a sponsor/coach of a club or organization that you are a part of:
      1. Participate in one sport, club, or extracurricular activity (can be outside of ETHS)
      2. Send an email request with Sophomore Honor Society Activity Verification/Recommendation Form link to a club or organization sponsor/coach
      3. Include your ID number (please give this to the recommender)
      4. The recommendation deadline is Friday, April 18, 2025

     

    • Complete 10 hours of community service for the school year, beginning in May 2024
      • Must be completed by March 14, 2025.
      • Submit hours to ETHS Community Service office (via SchoolLinks or paper form)
      • Check your Community Service Transcript (Experience Tracking) on SchooLinks to verify your hours are added
      • The submission deadline is Tuesday, April 1, 2025

     

    Please note that applications will not be accepted beyond the submission deadline. ETHS will honor sophomores who complete the Honor Society application process at an induction ceremony on May 14, 2025. Invitations to this event will be sent out to students and parents/guardians in late April/early May.
