Sophomore Honor Society Application Materials

  • Students who have a cumulative 3.0 GPA or higher will be invited to apply to the Sophomore Honor Society in February. Eligible students and their families will receive a mailing to their home address and an email. Students must be logged into their eths202.org account to complete the application forms.

    Requirements to earn a certificate of recognition for the ETHS Sophomore Honor Society are:

    1. Submit the Sophomore Honor Society Application Google form. Be sure you receive an auto-reply confirming receipt.(If you do not get a confirmation reply that means your form is not submitted. Please check for this

      • Make sure you receive a confirmation response
      • Deadline is Friday, April 19th, 2024
        • Cumulative GPA of 3.0 at the end of 1st semester sophomore year and earn Honor Roll status (at least a 3.0 GPA) for third quarter. 

    2. Complete 10 hours of community service for this school year - beginning with June 2023>

      • Submit hours to ETHS Community Service office.
        • Check your Community Service Transcript (Experience Tracking) on SchooLinks to make sure your hours are added.
      • Deadline is Friday, April 12, 2024

    3. Participate in one sport, club, or extracurricular activity

    4. Be recommended by an ETHS staff member

    ETHS will honor sophomores who complete the Honor Society application process at an induction ceremony on May 15, 2024. Invitations to this event will be sent out to students and parents/guardians in late April/early May.
