Second Semester Materials Pick-up

  • ETHS shared a plan for students to pick up their beginning-of-the-second-semester materials curbside on January 11-14. January 15 served as a make-up day for those students who could not attend their assigned day and time. Only students who have materials for pick-up received an email.

UPDATE January 26, 2021: Did you receive an email about picking up second semester materials after the curbside pick-up dates? You are still able to come to ETHS to receive your materials. Please follow the steps outlined in your email.  Contact Ms. Harding or Mr. Brown if you have questions about materials pick-up.

The following steps provide a safe, careful way for students to receive their beginning of the second semester materials via curbside pick-up.

    • Curbside pick-up/drop off will take place along Wildkit Drive in the rear of ETHS.
    • Vehicles should enter Wildkit Drive at Lake Street and proceed on Wildkit Drive until reaching a materials distribution station.
    • Vehicles should exit Wildkit Drive at Church Street after picking up materials.
    • Students/families should remain in their vehicle throughout the curbside pick-up process unless asked to exit by ETHS staff.
    • Upon arrival on Wildkit Drive, students/families should place a sign in their vehicle window with the student name and ID number. The sign should be large enough that ETHS staff can read the name and number from the sidewalk.
    • Students/families will need to provide an ETHS ID card (mobile or physical) or other form of identification before ETHS can release materials.
      • At the direction of ETHS staff at the distribution location, students/families will open the trunk/hatch of their vehicle.  ETHS staff will place student materials in the trunk/hatch.
      • A distribution station will be available for walking/biking students/families who arrive at ETHS during their designated time slot. Please arrive at Lot 3B for pick-up.
    • Students are expected to come to the building one time for curbside pick-up. Please plan carefully as ETHS will strictly follow this process to mitigate the health risks to all students and staff on campus each scheduled day.
      • Restrooms and other building access will not be available for students/families during curbside pick up of materials.
      • Students/families should be prepared to wait in a vehicle line along Wildkit Drive.
    • For everyone’s health and safety, students/families must wear a face covering while on the school campus.
    • As a reminder, as of May 1, all Illinois residents are required to wear face coverings in public places and in situations where they are unable to follow social distancing guidelines.
      • A face covering is any type of cloth that covers your nose and mouth, including non-medical grade masks, homemade masks, scarves, bandanas or handkerchiefs.
    • All students and staff must practice social distancing (6 feet apart from others) while at the school.
